Application Principle
The core of dust removal relies on physical forces to separate dust from air, with the mechanisms varying by type:
- Gravity and Inertia: Large particles are separated by gravity settling or impacting obstacles (gravity settling chambers, inertial dust collectors).
- Centrifugal Force: Dust is flung toward the walls of the device by centrifugal force as the airflow rotates (cyclone dust collectors).
- Filtration and Interception: Dust is trapped by filter bags/cartridges (screening, inertial impact, and diffusion effects), allowing clean air to pass through.
- Electrostatic Adsorption: A high-voltage electric field charges dust, attracting it to a collecting electrode (electrostatic precipitators).
- Droplet Capture: A film of water or atomized water droplets adheres to dust (wet dust collectors), simultaneously cooling it and absorbing harmful gases.
